Radio.Cloud Joins the AWS Partner Network

Radio.Cloud Joins the AWS Partner Network

NEW YORK, MUNICH, JAKARTA – July 8, 2022 – Radio.Cloud, the industry’s first 100% native cloud-based radio automation, content management and production system, is now a member of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN).

Radio.Cloud Founder and CEO Christian Brenner said, “After meeting with AWS at our booth in April at the NAB Show, we knew there was a natural synergy. And just a couple of months later, we’re very excited to complete the Foundational Technical Review. While many other radio software vendors are now offering a so-called ‘Lift and Shift’ – taking the old software and running it on a virtual machine in the cloud – Radio.Cloud’s ‘Native Cloud’ approach takes full advantage of countless cloud-specific products and features that legacy software can’t do. It’s a completely different operation, so getting the Radio.Cloud platform in the AWS Partner Network is a significant milestone for us.”

Radio.Cloud joins as an AWS Partner for cloud services in the radio industry and will work with AWS to offer cloud solutions to broadcasters and other content providers. The browser-based platform encourages remote collaboration, allows for production and voice-tracking from anywhere and delivers flexibility to radio programmers.

“Being able to work directly with AWS speaks to the security and reliability of Radio.Cloud,” Radio.Cloud Chief Strategy Officer Jim Hammond added. “AWS has long been recognized as the leading cloud services provider and it is an honor to meet their rigid standards of a true network partner. We’re looking forward to a close relationship with AWS and bringing the technological advantages to our Radio.Cloud customers”.

By leveraging the power of AWS, Radio.Cloud can offer more broadcasters safe and secure content storage along with a fully redundant high-quality broadcast signal. The platform is now available worldwide to terrestrial AM/FM radio stations, DAB+, and internet/online stations after successfully completing the Foundational Technical Review (FTR).

The FTR enables AWS Partners to identify and remediate risks in products or solutions. It’s led by an AWS Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) who reviews AWS Partner products and solutions against a specific set of requirements based on the security, reliability, and operational excellence pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Using the FTR guidelines, Radio.Cloud and other AWS Partners can review projects and workloads against each requirement before selecting the best practices to follow.

Radio.Cloud Wins Two Product of the Year Awards at NAB Show

Radio.Cloud was honored by the NAB Show as a two-time Product of The Year winner in 2022. With wins in the Radio category and Asset Management, Automation & Playout category, Radio.Cloud was one of eight companies to take home multiple awards.

“The 2022 NAB Show Product of The Year Awards honor innovative breakthroughs that will change the way the media and entertainment industry creates, connects and capitalizes content,” said Chris Brown, NAB Executive Vice President of Global Connections and Events. There are 15 categories in the NAB Show Product of the Year Awards, which recognize the most significant and promising new products and technologies exhibited at the show. The awards are judged by a panel of industry peers. For the complete list of the winners, you can access by click on this link: https://www.nab.org/documents/newsRoom/pressRelease.asp?id=6468

CEO and Founder Christian Brenner said, “I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved as a team over the last three years. Many predicted ‘it can’t work – doing everything in the cloud’ and now we not only have more than 160 channels on air from the cloud, but also have re-invented how radio operation and syndication can be done. The feedback at our booth discussing with hundreds of radio professionals tells me that we are on the right track.”

“This week has been the culmination of years of hard work by our development team around the world,” said Account Director Andrew Scaglione. “The response to our completely cloud-based solution was amazing and I’m excited to see where the next year takes us. We look forward to continuing to partner and bring innovation, automation, and creativity to the market across the media and entertainment industry.”

Radio.Cloud is the first 100% cloud-based radio automation, content management and production platform in the industry and now features a live assist platform. The company has 160 affiliates in Germany and a handful in the United States including Throwback 102.3 (WYET-FM/South Bend, IN) and 101.5 K-Hits (KCCL-FM/Sacramento). Learn more about the platform at https://radio.cloud/, and contact us by clicking on this link: https://linktr.ee/radiocloudusa.
